Daria lives with her mother at her grandmother's house. Her mother went through an uterus removal surgery, after being diagnosed with cancer. After the operation she became depressive and did not resume work. She suffered a major breakdown and could not return to the managerial position she had prior to the operation. Daria's mother and grandmother do not get along well and sometimes there are conflicts. Daria is very close to her mother and she would like to help her as much as she can.

Daria is a very good child, she takes school seriously. She likes skating and reading modern literature for young adults. Daria strives to get the best grades in school, in order to be accepted into George Cosbuc high school (one of the best in Cluj).
